                                 THURGESH,a breath of joy

     I went to Singapore after finish my SPM examination.The first thing i noticed about Singapore was how clean the streets and the surroundings were.The streets looked in fact spick and span and the parks,playground and other public places clean and people-friendly.Traffic was smooth and there were signs everywhere saying those caught for littering and spitting faced huge fines and even jail terms.No wonder the city sparkled with cleanliness-people are afraid to dirty their surroundings lest they are fined and prisoned like common criminals!The public transport was efficient and orderly.The Mass Rapid Transit(like our Light Rail Transit) was super efficient and so were the buses and cabs.Singapore is a shopping haven.My cousin bro and i had a field time shopping and indulging in the latest fashion and designer brands.Due to the currency exchange which does not favour our ringgit,almost everything is expensive in this tiny island,including dining out.Singapore is cosmopolitan and thus,you have a variety of ethnic dishes.We even dined at an Ethiopian restaurant,my first experience eating African food,and i must say,the food was interesting and delicious.We also visited the night safari.The concept is very unique and a hit with tourists.The night safari houses nocturnal animals and we had a whale of a time observing night creatures such as the cheetah and other dangerous life.Finally,we left after two weeks of touring the spendid island of Singapore.
